Is Jesus the Trinity?

No. Jesus is not “the Trinity.” The Bible never teaches three divine persons. Jesus is the one true God manifested in flesh; in Him dwelt all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
2) Scriptural Explanation
- Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD (Deuteronomy 6:4).
- God was manifest in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16).
- In Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily (Colossians 2:9).
- He that hath seen Me hath seen the Father… the Father that dwelleth in Me (John 14:9-10).
- I and My Father are one (John 10:30).
- His name shall be called… The mighty God, The everlasting Father (Isaiah 9:6).
- God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself (2 Corinthians 5:19).
- They shall call His name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us (Matthew 1:23).
- The Comforter… even the Spirit of truth… I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you (John 14:17-18).
3) Simple Clarifying Logic
- It’s not three Gods, and it’s not three persons. One God revealed Himself in different ways: as Father above us, in the Son with us, and as the Holy Spirit in us.
- The “Son” speaks of the body born of a virgin—the beginning of God’s manifestation in flesh. The indwelling in that body was the Father. The Holy Spirit is that same one God coming back to indwell believers.
- So Jesus is not a “Trinity.” He is the full revelation of the one God. All that the Father is, and all that the Holy Spirit is, was in Jesus Christ.
- Notice the Scripture says “the name” (singular) in Matthew 28:19, and the apostles used that Name in baptism (Acts 2:38). The one Name that reveals Father, Son, and Holy Ghost is the Lord Jesus Christ. That shows oneness, not three persons.

Show one verse that says “three persons in the Godhead.” It isn’t there. But the Bible plainly says God was manifested in Christ, and in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. That’s the mystery—one God made known in Jesus Christ.
