Where Is the Holies of Holies Today?

Today the Holy of Holies is not a room in a building. It is in heaven where Christ appears for us, and on earth God has placed His Holy of Holies inside the born‑again believer—the inner man—making our bodies His temple by the Holy Spirit.

- The veil was torn when Jesus died, showing open access to God’s presence (Matthew 27:51).
- We now enter “the Holiest” by the blood of Jesus through the veil, “that is to say, His flesh” (Hebrews 10:19–20).
- Christ entered the greater, heavenly sanctuary—“heaven itself”—for us (Hebrews 9:11–12, 24).
- God now dwells in His people: “You are the temple of God… the Spirit of God dwells in you” (1 Corinthians 3:16; 6:19; 2 Corinthians 6:16).
